China is a member country of the New York Convention, and such countries are obligated to recognise and enforce the terms of the convention. Currently, China has made considerable advancements in the recognition and enforcement of foreign arbitration awards; however, for practical reasons, many disputes remain. The purpose of this paper is to analyse typical cases in the practice of recognising and enforcing foreign arbitration awards in China and summarise the problems in the relevant legal practice.
