Today, Asia remains a boom market for businesses from around the world. With this increase of business also comes an increase of commercial disputes, which, coupled with the uncertain legal structures of many countries throughout the region, brings an increased demand for arbitration. Throughout Asia, arbitration is becoming a central mechanism foreign companies rely on for dispute resolution.
Despite the fact that Asia is the world’s fastest growing region for commercial arbitration, there is little written that provides practitioners with the requisite depth of knowledge. The Asian International Arbitration Journal is the first journal to provide high level commentary applicable to arbitration throughout Asia. Published in collaboration with the Singapore International Arbitration Centre this journal will become the thought leader in issues in international commercial arbitration in the Asia-Pacific Region.
Every issue of the Asian International Arbitration Journal will deliver high quality articles written by acknowledged experts in the field. Editorially independent, neutral, and reliable, contributors to the Asian International Arbitration Journal will write always with one goal in mind: to provide up-to-date and accurate reports on arbitration developments in the region.
Published twice-a-year starting in August, 2005, the Asian International Arbitration Journal will prove of interest to practitioners and scholars alike. Delivering ‘how-to’ guidance (What should you be aware of? How do you enforce arbitration decisions? How do you ensure compliance?) directly applicable to arbitration practice, this cutting edge practice-based publication will guide you through the maze of different arbitral institutions, regulatory changes and increasing body of case law and awards in Asia.
