This article considers the nature of so-called ‘guerrilla tactics’ in international arbitration and how to combat them. It also considers recent institutional developments in this field, with particular regard to the IBA Guidelines on Party Representation in International Arbitration (2013) and the Annex to the LCIA Arbitration Rules (2014).
